The M.S. in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in Sport Pedagogy, is designed for individuals seeking careers in education or education-related environments.

This specialization prepares students to design and conduct research on teaching/teacher education and curriculum and instruction, with an emphasis on linking theory to physical education practice. The program aims to provide requisite knowledge and skills needed to assume leadership roles in the individual’s chosen environment.

Interdisciplinary collaboration and research across CEHD are viewed as integral components of the sport pedagogy program.
