Undergraduate Admissions

Students applying to an undergraduate program must follow all department admissions requirements.

If you are a high school or transfer student interested in more information about our programs, please email: cehd-recruitment@tamu.edu

Freshmen Admissions

Freshman admissions, for students with no previous college credit, must apply through Texas A&M’s Office of Admissions. To meet with a member of our recruitment team, please email cehd-recruitment@tamu.edu.

Transfer Admissions

Transfer students are students who have earned college credit after high school, at a local 2-year community college or another 4-year university.

A transfer student applying for admission into an undergraduate program within the Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management must meet both the TAMU University transfer requirements set by the Office of Admissions and the minimum department transfer requirements outlined in the transfer course sheet. Admission to these programs is limited.

For questions about transfer admission into KNSM, please email cehd-recruitment@tamu.edu or call (979) 862-4345.

Note: Applicants are reviewed by a committee and admitted on a competitive basis. Meeting the minimum requirements listed does not guarantee admission.

Readmits

Readmissions must follow all Texas A&M readmission requirements. Readmission to programs in the Department of Kinesiology & Sport Management is not guaranteed.

Students should contact Alyssa Locklear for more information about readmission.

Change of Major

Change-of-major students are current students at Texas A&M University who want to change from their current major into a different one. Current students who have completed at least one full term of enrollment and at least 12 TAMU credit hours are eligible to apply as a change-of-major student. Change of major applications are reviewed and decided by each college/school and department. Specific change of major requirements can be found on the Undergraduate Studies website.

For questions about changing into a major in KNSM, visit the Undergraduate Academic Advising Office Website or call (979) 845-4530.
