
Rafael Rocha is a Ph.D. Student at Texas A&M University in the Sports Management program within the Department of Health and Kinesiology. Rafael Rocha’s research during his Ph.D. focuses on the intersections of sport, fans, and the natural environment. Rocha has a background working in the sports industry globally with brands such as UEFA, UFC, Manchester City, Nike, and New Balance, amongst others, always trying to understand fan culture and behaviors.
Rafael is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Pontificia Universidade Católica, followed by a Master’s in Marketing at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Rio de Janeiro).
